How do I know whether my controlled assessment has a strong enough argument?

We can go through your controlled assessment one paragraph at a time, and look at exactly what you are trying to argue in each paragraph. From then on we will use 'PEEL' (point, evidence, explanation, link) in order to ensure that you are using evidence well to back up your argument, and constantly linking to your overall stance. We will also look at your evidence and decide whether it is the most relevant evidence for the point you are making, and if not we will look for different evidence that you can include.

Then, we will look at your introduction and conclusion and make sure they are consistent with one another and with the argument being made throughout.

Finally, we will read through the whole controlled assessment to make sure the argument flows, and that everything is expressed as clearly as it can be.
