How can I improve my Spanish/language learning outside of the session?

One of the ways I did it (and I cannot stress this enough) is to completely immerse yourself in the culture of the language that you are learning. Taking Spanish as an example, you really want to be tuning into Spanish radio stations, listening and watching interactions via YouTube, reading books in Spanish and seeing how many words you are able to recognise; even if you can't understand the entire sentence!

It all boils down to practise in the end, and the more you practise the quicker you begin to pick up on the language itself.

Useful websites that can help you with your language learning are the BBC Languages, just follow the link here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/

An app for your phone that I found a MUST to have is Duolingo. It is available for iPhone, Android and even Windows phones! On PC, it contains even more useful information via a community in which to really engage with the language you're learning and give you a chance to ask questions about anything you're not particularly sure with.

Hopefully this helps you on your path to becoming fluent in another language, please feel free to message me if you require any further assistance!
