How can you tell using a reaction profile if the reaction is exothermic or endothermic?

For an EXothermic reaction energy EXits the reaction meaning that there is more energy at the start than there is at the end. In a reaction profile this is shown by a drop of energy from the reactants to the products. The line of the reactants is higher than the line of the products. For an ENdothermic reaction energy ENters the reaction meaning that there is less energy at the start than there is at the end. The is shown in the reaction profile by an increase in energy from the reactants to the products. The line of the reactants is below the line of the products
