Solve 2x+5=9

So, to solve this we want to isolate the x's on one side of the equation. We do this by subtracting 5 from both sides to give 2x=4. Then, we want to obtain a single x on one side of the equation. To do this, we divide by 2. Thus, we obtain x=2
