A circular ice rink has a diameter of 60 meters. Calculate the area of the ice rink in terms of π in meters

Area of a cirlce = π x r^2

The radius (r) = the diameter / 2

So, r = 60/2 = 30

Therefore, the area of the ice rink = π x 30^2 = 900π

Solve the following simultaneous equations: x^2 + 2y = 9, y = x + 3

Factorise and solve x^2 + 3x - 4 = 0

Can you solve these simultaneous equations and find the values of x and y? Equation 1: 2x + y = 14 Equation 2: 4x - y = 10.
