What is the function of the control rods in the entire fission reactor proccess?

Fuel rods provide fissionable elements such as uranium - 235 , The uranium abosrbs a neutron at thermal speeds (  energy transefered to the moderator) from previous reactions. This then enables the Uranium to go through a fission reaction. The reaction splits the uranium into smaller elements with a higher binding energy per neucleon, neutrons and energy. The neutrons expelled from this reaction create a exponetial increase in the rate or on going reactions. The control rods reduce the reaction rate the further they are lowered into the chamber. The control rods absorb the neutrons to modulate this ratebof reaction.

How does having a rotating plate in a microwave help food to be heated eavenly?

The mass of the Earth is 6.0x10^24 kg and its radius is 6.4x10^6m, calculate the orbital speed of the moon around the earth, the orbit of the moon is a circle of approximate radius of 60R where R is the radius of the earth and a mass m.

Describe, using words, an equation, *and* a graph for each, the following gas laws: (i) Boyle's Law (ii) Charles' Law (iii) The Pressure Law

Discuss how the graph of orbital velocities in rotational galaxies against distance from the galactic centre implies the existence of dark matter.
