ser has the following uses:1.To describe qualities of a person. E.g. Soy muy alta.2.For characteristics. E.g. Ella es muy tímida3.Time. E.g. Son las ocho.4.Occupations. E.g. Mi hermana es cantante6.Relationships. E.g. Esa chica es mi hermana.
estar has the following uses:1.Feelings. E.g. Estoy cansada2.Actions. E.g. Me estoy lavando las manos3.Locations. E.g. Mañana estaré en Barcelona.4.Position. E.g. Te estoy esperando en casa.
