How should I revise for an English exam?

Revising for English can be difficult, as there is no set formula for a wrong or right answer. However, you should focus on particular areas you struggle with the most, whether it is time management, remembering quotes, or phrasing your answers coherently. Although it may seem obvious, I find that one of the best tips is to simply know the primary text well. This means that if you are confronted with a difficult exam question, you will be able to pick out key moments/aspects that will help you develop a focused direction and form ideas.
