For instance the climate, things to do, the cuisine and the people that live there. The clause in the question prompts an answer which includes an imperfect subjunctive and a conditional tense. My answer would be along the lines of: "Si tuviera la opción, eligería Chile porque hay un montón de cosas que se puede hacer día a día. Ya sea las montañas con las estaciónes de esquí bien administradas o las playas en la costa, pasaría bomba.
