What is the best way to structure an exam-style essay response for Politics?

One of the most important things to remember when writing exam responses is to plan your answers briefly before you start writing, so you have at least a vague idea of where you are going throughout the essay, increasing coherency and giving the piece a better 'flow'. By doing this, your arguments should seem more logical and it will make signposting and constructing a logical conclusion much easier!
