Solve 5x - 2 < 3x + 11

5x - 2 < 3x + 11 --> 5x < 3x + 13 (Add 2) --> 2x < 13 (Subtract 3x) --> x < 13/2 (Divide by 2)

I struggle with time management whilst doing an exam paper. How will I be able to answer every question in the time given for the exam?


A cuboid has sides such that the longest side is two units more than the shortest side, and the middle length side is one unit longer than the shortest side. The total surface area of the cuboid is 52 units². What is the length of the shortest side?


There are N counters in a bag, 4 being red and the rest being blue. I take two counters at random from the bag (without replacing the first).The chance i take two blue counters is 1/3, See below in the answer box
