How do I calculate molar concentrations and determine the mole value based on the mass of a compound?

Molar concentrations are calculated with the basic formula: Concentration (mol/ml) = Number of moles (mol) / Volume (ml). Remember to keep all units consistent and convert when appropriate.

The number of moles can be determined from using the mass of a compound and it's relative formula mass. The following formula is used to find the number of moles Moles = Mass (g) / Relative formular mass (g)
