How do I come up with an interesting concept?

In most cases a student doing GCSE will be given a list of options to choose from when starting a new project, e.g, magnified, texture, layered... Therefore when deciding on one of these to go forward with, it is easy to get excited about an idea and final outcome and to fill in the research and preliminary planning later (usually in a rush before the deadline closes).  So once you have picked your option, or if you are struggling to choose one, make a mind map (as many as you need) and write down all the ideas you have. This not only gets all the stress out of your head and onto paper, but it allows you to look at all the possibilities you could go forward with from which you can pick from! Easy peasy and stress free!
