What does the mass of an object have no effect on the acceleration of the object during free fall?

Using the equation sheet:According to Newton’s second Law, F=ma. For an object under free fall, therefore F=mg. Force is also the rate of change of momentum, so F=mv/tIf these equations were made equal:mv/t = mgMass therefore cancels out, so has no effect on the rate of acceleration.
