How can I achieve a grade A?

It is absolutely vital that examples are incorporated in the argument of your essay. For every point that is made, an example should be given as it demonstrates your understanding of a political concept. The more recent and contemporary the example, the higher the score. Watching the news is a great way to be exposed to current affairs and to find new examples.
Identify the key term(s) in the title question. Define all key terms you will use in your essay in your introduction.
In order to truly succeed even if you have incorporated the above, you must learn all the content of the syllabus, in particular the major political concepts. Make sure you fully understand what the question entails. Is it primarily an explaining question or a discussion question? If it is a discussion question, make sure you have shown an argument. So you have considered two or more different view points. Then in your conclusion, you must come to a definite answer to the question. Explain if any factor you have discussed answers the question and if not, why not.
