What do I need to include in my personal statement?

You should base your personal statement around 3 main points. Your introduction should include why you want to study the subject (including what parts of the subject specifically interests you and your future/career plans - you should link these plans to the subjects you have studied). The majority of your personal statement should involve you saying what you have done in the past that makes you suitable for the subject, including academic studies and any other projects BUT make sure they are relevant... Convince the University that you would be an asset to the course! The last bit of your personal statement should include any other significant achievements/responsibilities that you have had in the past that would allow you to contribute to the university community.
