What current medical news particularly interests you and why?

The industrial action that may be undertaken by Junior doctors in response to the new contracts outlined by MP Jeremy Hunt. This is of interest because if this action goes ahead it means that only patients given an "emergency" status will be treated by doctors, meaning a large number of people looking for treatment will be without it. It will therefore be interesting to see the reaction these patients who would normally recieve care will have to the strikes. Will the patients support the overworked and underpaid junior doctors or will they support the MPs?
