Nominal data is data that is categorised. For example, what pet do you have: Dog, cat, otherOrdinal data is data that can be put in order. For example, Jim scored 35 on a test and Joe scored 16 so Jim is better than Joe.Interval data is data that is on a set scale and has even intervals. For example, temperature can be measured on an accepted scale
