How do I approach the MLAT translation questions?

The important thing to remember about translation is that it is a lot like solving a puzzle piece by piece. Time is limited in the MLAT so I would advise to read through each sentence on offer a couple of times then complete the ones you feel most confident about first. Once those are out of the way you will be in the swing of things and you will be able to answer the more difficult ones without worrying as much about time. Don’t forget that a surprisingly large amount of vocab is given to you if you simply compare the sentences in the French to English to the ones in the English to French section!
