How should I tackle learning my set texts?

When learning set texts it is important to not just learn the English translation, but to memorise it alongside the Latin text. Websites such as Quizlet are really helpful, as you can create flashcards and break down your text into manageable chunks to learn, with the Latin on one side and the English translation on the other. Obviously, you can make your own flashcards if you prefer! Test yourself by reading through the text fluently while looking at the Latin, and make sure that you will be able to translate sections randomly and cover the whole text as any section is likely to come up. You must know the translation word perfect in order to be able to translate and commentate to a high standard.
