Identify a factor that affects accuracy of memory and describe how it affects the accuracy of memory

One factor is interference. New learning may cause either proactive or retroactive interference, where another memory is recalled instead of the one needed. An example of proactive interference is recalling an old address instead of a new one, whereas an example of retroactive interference, is recalling the number plate of your current car instead of your previous car
