How do you talk about the future in German?

Often, German speakers will use the simple present, alongside an adverbial of time. For instance: Morgen gehen wir schwimmen. (Tomorrow, we're going swimming). Or: Heute Abend gehen wir ins Kino. (This evening, we're going to the cinema).The future tense, however, is also formed using werden + infinitive construction. This is often when using the present tense would not be clear simply from the context. Examiners will want to see you can use this construction. For instance: Ich warte auf dich. (I'm waiting on you) Ich werde auf dich warten.
