How do you talk about the future in German?

Often, German speakers will use the simple present, alongside an adverbial of time. For instance: Morgen gehen wir schwimmen. (Tomorrow, we're going swimming). Or: Heute Abend gehen wir ins Kino. (This evening, we're going to the cinema). The future tense, however, is also formed using werden + infinitive construction. This is often when using the present tense would not be clear simply from the context. Examiners will want to see you can use this construction. For instance: Ich warte auf dich. (I'm waiting on you) Ich werde auf dich warten. (I'll be waiting for you)Werden, the auxiliary verb, is inflected as follows: ich werde du wirst er/sie wird wir werden ihr werdet sie werden Sie werden
