A strength of the working memory model is that it is supported by case study evidence, for example KF. He was able to remember visual stimuli but not verbal stimuli, which supports the working model of memory's proposition that these stores exist separately.However, a weakness of this model is that it is only concerned with the short term memory, therefore it is not a fully comprehensive model and has limited application.
