Translate: Nisus erat miles fortis. Amicum habebat, Euryalum nomine, quem maxime amabat. Postquam Graeci urbem Troiam ceperunt, Nisus Euryalusque ad Italiam cum paucis aliis Troianis fugerunt. Ibi invenerunt multos hostes, qui Troianos delere volebant.

Nisus was a brave soldier. He had a friend, called Euryalus, whom he loved very much. After the Trojans had taken the city of Troy, Nisus and Euryalus fled to Italy along with a few others. There they found many enemies, who wanted to destroy the Trojans.
