When do you use the genitive case?

The genitive case is used primarily in Russian instead of using the word 'of' in English. It is also used after нет, to negate something, and after a few verbs such as стесняться/постесняться. I will give you a table showing how to form the genitive with all noun endings and if you have any questions about how that works I will take you through that.
