How can I revise for English Literature?

Reading your allocated texts over and over again is one of the best revision techniques for English Literature as it familiarises you further with the plot and characters.

Along with this, identifying the themes of each text is key, as is finding and learning quotations to support them. It is particularly helpful if these quotations also contain literary devices that can be analysed, such as: metaphors, similes and personification. This can also be done in terms of important settings and characters within the texts which results in a list of quotations which can be readily analysed and learnt.
