What are some good ways to learn the law for AS and A2?

For AS, it is useful to create model answers of all the qustions that could come up in Law 01 (e.g. features of judicial precedent, law reports etc.) and the first 2 questions for Law 02 (such as strict liability mens rea etc.) Then for the actual law in A2, creating cards of mind maps for each offence is a good way. On a piece of card have the name of the offence at the top. Then add the definition of it underneath with key facts such as prison sentence length and what type of offence it is. Then split the card into mens rea on one side and actus reus on the other. Under each section write the actus reus or mens rea. The underneath add any other law there is. In a different coloured pen add the cases. Then try to write out each part of the card, adding on a bit more each time until you can write the whole card out by memory.
