Where should I start looking for sources for my EPQ essay?

As your EPQ essay has to be based on a subject which you haven't been taught about, this will probably be the first time you'll need to seek out your own sources. A good place to start is a school library. Here, you're bound to find books which offer context or an overview of your subject. However, things get a little more tricky when looking for primary sources, which are necessary to come out with a top grade in your EPQ. If your essay is historically based, searching online archives for key words, looking in journals on your subject or even visiting museums are likely to provide some primary sources. If your essay is science or arts based, you are more likely to find primary sources through the internet.
