What is Coulomb's law

These are usually 2 or 3 mark questions and should be a really easy source of marks in any paper. The marks will be awarded for stating the 2 key point of the law and in some cases for writing out the equation for Coulomb's law and defining each term. 1. The force between 2 POINT charges is PROPORTIONAL to the PRODUCT of the 2 charges. 2. The force between 2 POINT charges is INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL to the SQUARE of the DISTANCE between the 2 charges. 3. F = 1/4πε0 (q1q2)/r^2 F = The force between the 2 charges. ε0 = Permittivity of free space (constant). q1 = Charge of 1 point charge. q2 = Charge of the other point charge. r = The distance between the 2 charges.

A car is moving along a straight horizontal road, with a constant acceleration. The car passes point A, with a speed of ums(-1). 10 seconds later, passes point B, with a speed of 45 ms(-1). The distance from A to B is 300m. Find u.

A ball is dropped from rest from a window 3m above ground height. How long will it take the ball to hit the ground? (You may assume air resistance on the ball is negligible.)

If a ball is launched at ground level at a velocity v and angle θ, find an expression for it's height at horizontal distance x.
