Economics
Queen Mary University
200+ lessons
I am a dedicated student with a fervour for teaching Maths and Economics. My journey as an aspiring educator has been shaped by my unwavering love for these subjects and my desire to share that passion with others. As a first year student majoring in Economics, I've been fortunate to delve deep into the realms of Mathematics and Economics, honing my knowledge and teaching skills. I firmly believe that these subjects hold the key to understanding the world and making informed decisions. My approach to teaching is to make these often complex topics accessible and engaging for students. I thrive on the 'light bulb moments' when a concept clicks for a student. I am also a strong advocate for real-world applications of Maths and Economics, showing how they play an integral role in our daily lives. Outside of my academic pursuits, I enjoy going to the gym and watching football. I am excited to embark on a journey to inspire a love for Maths and economics in my future students, equipping them with the tools to succeed in both the classroom and the broader world.

Product Design Technology (Bsc)
Loughborough
Hello! My name is Kaya and here's a bit about me: I am currently studying at Loughborough University, doing Product Design Technology (Bsc) and after having completed my A-levels, I can't wait to jump back in with tutoring! Happy with tutoring subjects: Maths GCSE Further Maths (Level 2) Geography GCSE Graphic Design GCSE/A-level Achieved grades GCSE: Maths (H) - 9 Further Maths - 9 Geography - 8 A-level: Maths - A Graphic Design - A* Geography - A Experience: Maths mentoring during my time at Beauchamp College for a GCSE (yr10) class gave me a large insight into how to engage with students and the best possible ways to learn. During my A-levels I also took time to support lower achieving students with explanations and answers to queries they brought to me. Structure: I plan to follow school/college structure in order to consolidate knowledge gained in the classroom. This would be going over new content before/ after viewing it at school and reinforcing knowledge by going over exam style questions. Optionally, my classes can be used to ask questions about problems that you may find difficult or need explaining which is another amazing way of reaching your target grade. I understand that being in a classroom environment can be daunting, especially when you don't understand the content - hopefully I can support you on your academic journey!
