What are common A*/higher level phrases/fillers I can use in my speaking exam?

The Spanish speaking exam has to demonstrate strong content, and vocabulary, so my first suggestion would be to revise bullet points with good vocabulary on all the topics that might come up. Reading articles and listening to videos on the topic online is also very helpful, to allow you to go beyond what is taught at school, and achieve the top levels and grades: It is helpful to make flashcards/notes on phrases and fillers that will make your speaking sound more fluent, fluid and natural, rather than focusing strictly on content: Here is a list of phrases organized into their key groups: Giving opinions: Desde mi punto de vista- from my point of view... A mi modo de ver- The way I see it… En cuanto a…- With respect to (insert topic/idea here) Personalmente, opino que- Personally, I think that… Creo que/Pienso que- I believe that/I think that… Adding information/points and constructing arguments: Por consiguiente- consequently... Además- furthermore... Adicionalmente- additionally No obstante- however La otra cara del argumento sería- the other side of things would be No creo que + subjunctive- I don’t believe that… Fillers: Bueno- well… Pues…- well… Vamos a ver/a ver- let’s see.... Entonces- thus/therefore… Es decir- in other words… O sea- in other words… A* structures: Si + imperfect subjunctive +conditional structure= example: si tuviera más dinero, viajaría por todo el mundo (if I had more money, I would travel the whole world). *Other subjunctive structures: si hubiera tenido más dinero, habría viajado por todo el mundo (if I had had more money, I would have travelled the whole world).
