How do I form the imperfect subjunctive/conditional sentences?

Follow the following structure: Si + imperfect subjunctive +conditional phrase: This structure explains an action that could happen if the circumstances of something were a certain way: e.g. If I could, I would go out and meet more people. (si pudiera, saldría y conocería mas personas) To form the first part, the imperfect subjunctive, conjugate the verb in third person plural of the preterite tense. Then, take away ‘ron’ (which is at the end of all 3rd person plural verb conjugations of the preterite tense), and add the corresponding endings: Ra (I), ras (you), ra (he/she/it), ramos (we), rais (you plural), ran (they). Example: llegar → llegaron (preterite) → llega_ (take away ron) → llegara (if it was in first or 3rd person singular) For the second part use the simple conditional tense (e.g. tendria).
