How can I prepare for my oral exam?

There are many different ways to prepare for your oral exam. If you are a fairly confident speaker of French, then minimise learning answers word-for-word and instead write short bullet point prompts as answers to each question to use when revising. This spontaneity achieves higher marks. However, if you are less confident, it is okay to learn slightly longer phrases or sentences to fall back on if spontaneity becomes a problem. Ask a friend, parent or teacher to test you on these questions, changing the order of questions each time so you become used to the questions and which answers should follow. Watch French TV and listen to French radio to improve pronunciation.
