How should I learn quotations to include in my essays?

Firstly, there are many different ways of learning, so if you haven't yet found what suits you, try one of the following: flashcards, recording them and listening back, writing them out, online sites like Quizlet or Memrise, post-its everywhere! Secondly, it is often helpful to learn quotations in groups that directly relate to your literature. This helps to focus your thought process in exams, and gives you a realistic impression of the amount of quotations you can fit within an essay.
