Calculate 7.6 x 32.5

Treat both numbers as whole numbers - i.e 76 x 325 (remember at the end that there are still decimals!) 76 x 325 = 24,700 ( This will be explained by using the two lines by 1st method or method that the student finds easiest)Remember the decimal points! Since between 7.6 and 32.5, there are 2 decimal places between them. Then if 76 x 325 = 24,700...7.6 x 32.5 = 247

What is Pythagoras' theorem?

Determine the coordinates of the intersection point(s) between the line y = x^2 + 4x - 8 and y = - 2x - 17

You are shown a diagram of a right angled triangle, with the hypotenuse labelled c and the other sides labelled a and b. If a is 7m long and c is 10m long, what is the length of b?

The circle c has equation x^2 + y^2 = 1. The line l has gradient 3 and intercepts the y axis at the point (0, 1). c and l intersect at two points. Find the co-ordinates of these points.
