How do you form the future indicative tense with regular verbs?

The future indicative tense is used to describe actions that will happen in the future. It is formed with regular verbs through taking the infinitive form of -er, -ir, and -re verbs and adding the appropriate verb endings.

The endings to form the future are :

-ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont

1st person sing., 2nd person sing., 3rd person sing., 1st person plur., 2nd person plur., 3rd person sing.

For -er, and -ir infinitives, simply add the appropriate ending.

JOUER - je jouerai, tu joueras, il/elle jouera, nous jouerons, vous jouerez, ils/elles joueront

FINIR - je finirai, tu finiras, il/elle finira, nous finirons, vous finirez, ils/elles finiront

For -re verbs, take the infinitive, remove the last e, and then add the approriate ending.

PRENDRE - je prendrai, tu prendras, il/elle prendra, nous prendrons, vous prendrez, ils/elles prendront
