how do you conjugate a regular verb in the present indicative tense?

To conjugate any verb you must first find the stem, ie the root of the verb from the infinitive form. In Spanish this means removing the AR/ER/IR ending from for example habl-AR (to talk) and thus as you can see 'habl' is the stem. From this you then add on the set endings and decide upon which ending to apply based on who or what you are referring to when using the verb - so for this example: who is doing the talking? is it you? is it her or them or us? The endings for AR verbs in the present tense are:-o-as-a-amos-ais -aronand these apply to any regular spanish AR verb!ER and IR:.......
