In an experiment a burrette was identified as the largest source of uncertainty, how could this uncertainty be reduced?

A burrette is a measuring apparatus a burrette measures the volume of liquid delivered during a titration. with each measurement there is an uncertainty with the recorded measurement of delivered liquid. When the volume of liquid delivered is larger, percentage error due to uncertainty decreases. So to decrease percentage error of total measurement and increase certainty the solution should be diluted. Diluting the solution in the burrette with diluted water would increase the volume delivered as the concentration is weaker in the burrette thus reducing percentage error and increasing certainty. As a larger volume has to be delivered to add the same amount of moles to the solution.

Carbon dioxide is a gas at room temperature while silicon dioxide is a solid at room temperature with a melting point of 1770°C. Explain this by comparing their particles and those forces between these particles.

If we burn 3 moles of carbon in air (as per the equation), what mass (in grams) of carbon dioxide will be produced? What volume will this gas occupy at standard temperature and pressure?
