A curve is defined by the parametric equations x=(t-1)^3, y=3t-8/(t^2), t is not equal to zero. Find dy/dx in terms of t.

Calculate the gradient of the function y=x^2+6x when y=-9

Express 3cos(theta) + 5sin(theta) in the form Rcos(theta - alpha) where R and alpha are constants, R>0 and 0<alpha<90. Give the exact value of R and the value of alpha to 2dp.
