I can never think of anything to write during French Creative writing exams, what can I do?

Always remember that although the exam title has the word 'Creative' in it, it is still an exam and the examinator wants you to show off what you know. Preparation and simplicity is the key. Depending on the number of words you have to write, make a mental checklist of things you want to 'show off': You're comfortable with the basics, and know how to conjugate the present/ past tense. You know adjectives, verbs and nouns belonging to the category You have covered a number of different subjects in french this year, find ways to include variations of verbs and adjectives(and for those last few points, why not find a couple of interesting terms that will help you stand out from the crowd!)Once you've established the basics of your creative writing, remember to answer the question and keep it simple. We can practice by asking some sample questions out loud and focus on organizing that thought process down on paper.
