How do I make my personal statement stand out?
It is very easy with a personal statement to be too cheesy and effusive. Instead of overthinking it just write in clear plain English, that way you can fit more information in and appear mature. Try to really think about a personal feature about your subject that you like rather than sticking to the cliche.
