What is the best way to set up an essay?

The best way to set up an essay is to first skim through or remember from the text 4-6 simple points when taking into account the question asked. Then think of possible quotes to support your answer and write them down in any spare space next to the question. In bullet points, analyse the quotes, along with the points, try to do this within 5-10 minutes. Next, start your essay by introducing those key points in a very general manner, roughly explaining what the essay will be containing. This should be followed by 4-6 key point paragraphs containing the things already thought through before starting the essay but with more exploration and depth. Your essay should then end with a conclusion, summarising points made earlier and if necessary, adding an opinionative comment. Make sure to keep an eye on the time!
