What's the best way to remember vocabulary?

In my experience repetition is the best. Don't just practice from English to French - switch it up and practice French to English too!

If you're really struggling then try mental imagery - for example, une pomme is an apple - imagine a pomeranian terrier eating an apple. Mental imagery has high recall!
