How do you form the future tense?

There are two ways to express an action in the future. You can either use the near future tense, using the present tense of 'aller' (to go) followed by the infinitive or the simple future tense where you conjugate a specific verb.Method 1: It is essential to be able to conjugate the verb 'aller' since it will always be used. Je vais Tu vas Il/elle/on va Nous allons Vous allez Ils/elles vont Add the infinitive verb e.g. They are going swimming: Ils vont nagerMethod 2:Take the infinitive although for RE verbs (rendre) remove the last E, then add the appropriate ending:je parlerai tu parleras il/elle parlera nous parlerons vous parlerez ils/elles parleront Watch out for irregulars where the endings are added to different stemsexamples include: avoir = aur, être = ser, aller = ir, voir = verr, savoir = saur
