In reaction kinetics, what parameters affect the rate of the reaction?

The rate of a reaction is affected by the concentration of the reactants, the action of a catalyst and the temperature. If we change the concentration of the reactantants, the reaction rate is going to change, because the rate is the mathematical expression of the change in concentration of a compound over time. The addition of a catalyst lowers the activation energy so less energy is required and the process can occur faster. The last parameter that affects the rate of a reaction is the temperature. This is because if it rises, the particles move faster and there are more collisions between them.
