What do Christians believe about God?

Christians believe that there is one God, who is in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father created the world and judges. God the Son is Jesus Christ who came as a human to earth as an example of how Christians should be, and to save people from the punishment of sin through his death. God the Holy Spirit is referred to as a person, but can also be understood as a spiritual force that works in people's lives to make them more like Jesus. These three persons existed together from when the earth was first created.Christians believe that God is outside time and space, but also works within it. Christians communicate with God through prayer and worship God individually and together in church.
