How can I decide what facts to include as evidence in my essays?

Before you begin to write an essay/respond to the question, you need to make a 5-10 minute plan roughly stating your factors/points for each paragraph, and 2-3 facts that you will include to back up each main point (of the paragraph) that you make. These facts should be short and concise pieces of information that make a 'jump off' point for you to begin to analyse the evidence and link to your argument/the question, and you ideally go with facts that fit this criteria, and are also very specific and 'special' knowledge that goes beyond basic base knowledge to show you have truly studied the topic in depth.
