How do you conjugate verbs into the imperfect tense?

To form the imperfect tense first put the verb into the infinitive and take of its AR/ER/IR ending. Then add either the -aba (I) -abas(You singular) -aba(He/she/it) -ábamos(we) -abais(you plural) -aban(they) endings if the verb is an AR verb or the -ía(I) -ías (you singular) -ía (He/she/it) -íamos (We) -íais (you plural) -ían (they) endings if the verb is an ER/IR verb. The only verbs for which this is not the case are IR (to go) VER (to see) and SER (to be). The conjugations for these verbs are as follows: IR - iba, ibas, iba, íbamos, ibais, iban VER - veía, veías, veía, veíamos, veíais, veían SER - era, eras, era, éramos, eras, eran
