Big data is the catch-all term given to massive datasets that are used with increasing frequency by modern organisationsBig is a descriptive term and covers datasets that are big both in terms of volume of data but also in terms of size/complexity of processing.One of the other developments in regards to big data is that of the speed at which data is being processed. Lots of big data is now analysed and used in real-time.
