What's the difference between "ce" and "se"?

Ce is either a « pronom démonstratif » that precedes the verb être (ce sont, ce sera…) or before a « pronom relatif » (ce que, ce dont…), but it is also a « determinant démonstratif » that’s placed in front of a noun (ce chat, ce repas…).Examples:Ce sont des questions qu'il faudra résoudre avant ce soir.Dites-nous ce que vous en pensez.Se is a « pronom personnel » of the 3rd person that we use when it represents the same being or thing than the subject of the verb. This is why we call it : « pronom réfléchi » . It always precedes the verb to which it refers.Examples:Il se lave.S'ils ne peuvent pas se voir, ils se téléphoneront.
